Voluntary Work

Well-done voluntary work brings to those who practise it a personal enrichment and some sun in the patient's room !

 

In 2000, the voluntary team of the "Friends" of the Bordet Institute celebrated its 10th birthday.

• If you have some spare time to devote to a voluntary work activity (half-day a week),
• If you are friendly,
• If you like human contacts,
• If you think that everybody can take part in improving human relationships in our society,
• If you are of concern wiht other people's difficulties,
• If your are able to listen to them,
• If you are endowed with patience,

... then come and join our voluntary team !

 

The voluntary worker's role is to get involved in the life of the Institute by bringing a moral or practical help where it is necessary or desirable. If the voluntary worker's wish is to bring an efficient help to the Institute, he has to be aware that some rules, in order to guarantee the patient's safety and also his safety, are to be respected. These rules are accompanied by a training session which fits the needs of the Jules Bordet Institute.
