Who are we ?

Bordet’n Wellness is a brand new ASBL whose aim is to finance the improvement of the wellness of patients at the Jules Bordet Institute.
Nowadays, we know that the patients’ quality of life plays an essential role in the way they tolerate treatments.
As the reference centre for oncology in Belgium, the Jules Bordet Institute has always been aware of it and put humanisation in its top priorities.

 

What do you do with the collected funds ?

There are many projects that can benefit from a financial support of the Bordet’n Wellness:
- to renovate the premises in order to give a better welcome to patients and make their stay at the hospital more pleasant (fittings and decoration of the waiting rooms, corridors, rooms…);
- to offer specific services to patients: area for patients’ children, wellness area with massages, face care…;
- to publish booklets for the public;
- to support artistic projects within the hospital (…).

 

How are the funds managed ?

Every financed project is first approved by the Direction of the Jules Bordet Institute. In cooperation with the medical staff, it decides of the priority to give to each aid.
Bordet’n Wellness’ ASBL is an initiative from ‘The Friends of the Jules Bordet Institute’ ASBL. Both ASBL have the same strict management rules and board of directors :

• Treasurer : Jean VANDEN DRIESSCHE

 

How can you help us ?

- By making a donation to the account number 000-3256825-50
Attention! donations made to the ‘Bordet’n Wellness’ ASBL are not tax-deductible.
 
- By organizing actions in our favour (sporting event, concert…) or by letting us take part in events of your life (wedding, birthday…). In this case, you can ask us to provide you the names of people that made a donation.
