In our hospital rich in cultural diversity, a dynamic team is at our patients’ disposal who are from a foreign culture to give them quality care thanks to a better understanding of their disease, their treatment and the organization of their stay at the hospital.

The mission of this team consists of making easier the contact between the patient and the hospital institution, improving the listening, establishing an atmosphere of mutual trust, ensuring a good communication.

The team is at the Bordet Intitute and CHU St Pierre’s disposal and carries out by appointment or according to availability :
- interpreting
- the listening and the support during a medical talk
- the mediation of a conflict of cultural origin
- the contribution to an optimal communication between the team of doctors and nurses and patients

- the search of interpreters of other languages
