Hospitalization

Your Questions about your Hospitalization
from your arrival to when you get out of the Hospital

Your Exit

Important : the decision of your exit

The hospital respects your freedom and you can, at any moment, come out of the hospital. Nonetheless, it is your doctor who will decide, with your agreement, if your state of health make it possible.
If you want to leave against medical advice, you will have to sign discharge form, so that the hospital will not be responsible for you any longer.

The time

For organization reasons, the exits are planned early in the afternoon.

The exit procedures

If you have to continue being undergoing treatment, you will be given a prescription. Do not hesitate to ask advice about how to implement the prescription.
Before leaving, make sure, by asking the nurse, that you recieved all the forms, recommendation, dates of tests and possible consultations.
You will be given, to your doctor, letter of exit, which enumerates the main diagnostics and the treatments in progress.
A detailed report of your hospitalization wil be sent to him later; so please make sure that you give his contact details. These documents will enable him to ensure the continuity of your care.

Hospital fees

A detailed bill, which enumarates all the charges during your hospitalization, wil be sent to your home.
Billing Department : 02/541.34.34, From 8a.m to 12a.m, exept on Wednesday.

Residence Certificate

Within the framework of the additionnal insurance, some mutual societies give a daily allowance in case of hospitalization.
The payment of this allowance is subordinate to the delivery of a residence certificate. This certificate can also be useful if you have taken out a hospitalization insurance with a private insurance company. To get it, please contact the Admission Office when you leave.

Before leaving, DO NOT forget

- to check if you have with you all your personal items
- to leave the key on the wardrobe of your room
- to inform the nurses of your floor that you are leaving
- to ask for the documents and informations that your doctor and the medical team will have prepared
- to give the remote control back at the admission office, then you will be given your deposit back
- to get back your depositing at the checkout or at the admission office in exchange of the inventory which has been drawn up at the time of your admission.
The checkout is open from 8.30 a.m to 12.30 a.m and the Admission Office from 7.30 a.m to 5p.m
