The Reception House "Les Tournesols"

Is one of your relatives hospitalized at the Bordet Institut ? You must undergo medical examinations or you are in treatment ?
Welcome to the reception house "Les Tournesols" a.s.b.l. Julie & Françoise Drion wich has opened on 17 January 2005.

- It enables families to support their hospitalised relatives by their presence
- It enables to accommodate the patient under some conditions

 

Localisation

The reception house "Les Tournesols" is a five minutes walk from Bordet Institute

 

Description

- The house has 11 bedrooms and 22 beds.
- Each room has a wash-up room with a washbasin, a shower and a toilet.
- The common rooms include a kitchen, a dining-room, two multi-purpose rooms (reading, games, …) and a laundry.

 

Living conditions in the house

The reception house is not a hotel :
- Everybody particips in the housework, the upkeep and the tidying of the bedroom.
- The self-service breakfast is free.
- Everybody is required to bring one's own linen (hand towel, facecloth, …)
- The sheets are available to the roomers.
- Only the roomers have access to the house

 

Charges

- The cost of accommodation and breakfast is 20 Euros per day and per person
- In case of financial difficulties, please inform the Bordet Institute Social Service and the people in charge of the reception house, who will try to find a solution.
- A down payment is required when people arrive and is fixed according to the foreseeable duration of the stay.
