Surgery Department
Mission
The
oncological surgery is a multidisciplinary and reconstructive activity,
it is essential in the treatment of primary tumours, but it also takes into
account the serious problems that relapses and cancerous metastases cause.
It uses particular techniques in irradiated patients or patients who have been previously treated by chemotherapy.
Surgery also contributes to supportive care (hemodynamics, ileus and so on).
The surgery Department is made up of 6 functional Units :

- Cervical, facelift and thoracic surgery,
- Digestive surgery,
- Mammary and pelvic surgery,
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery,
- Subcutaneous tumours surgery,
- Bone tumours and soft tissues surgery.
Each Unit has its own functional autonomy regarding consultations and clinical research activities.
