Mission
The missions of orthopaedic surgery :
Surgical treatment :
- Primary benign and malignant bone tumors, especially located in the extremities
- Primary soft tissues tumors
Treatment of secondary bone tumors (metastases)
with the goal of pain relieve and restoration of function.
Surgical treatment of the complications related to medical treatment in cancer patients.
(e.g.: aseptic bone necrosis, musculotendinous retractions, algoneurodystrophy, etc.)
