Living the Summer – June 9 & 10, 2026

On the occasion of the new edition of “Living the Summer!” taking place on June 9 and 10, the nurses specialised in supportive care and well-being counselling at the Jules Bordet Institute are organising two days of information sessions and practical advice (with around ten stands on site) to help patients enjoy the summer with greater peace of mind.

The AYA (Adolescents and Young Adults) team at the Jules Bordet Institute invites young cancer patients, regardless of the hospital where they are being treated, to take part in a “World Café” on June 25, 2026, to share their needs, ideas and expectations.

The goal? To co-create workshops that truly meet patients’ expectations.

On November 20 and 21, 2026, the Jules Bordet Institute will host the 20th edition of the Belgian Symposium on the Integration of Molecular Biology Advances into Oncology Clinical Practice, organized in collaboration with the Belgian Society of Medical Oncology (BSMO). The event will take place at the Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher's in Brussels and will be preceded by the 12th edition of the Post-MASCC Seminar.

Red September Conference: "Young People Facing Life After Cancer"

On the occasion of Red September, the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) team at the Jules Bordet Institute and Onco.care invite you to an afternoon of information, discussion and shared experiences dedicated to life after cancer, on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Tagnon Auditorium at the Institute.
