Kinesitherapy

Mission

Here are the main kinesitherapy treatments that you can find at the Jules Bordet Institute :

 

1. respiratory kinesitherapy in order to improve ventilatory performance and bronchopulmonary clearing
2. musculo-articular rehabilitation after orthopaedic, senologic, cervico-facial surgery, etc.
3. functional and walking rehabilitation, with and without prosthesis
4. lymphatic drainage
5. prevention of vascular and trophic complications due to confinement to bed
6. treatment of scars and of tissue retractions
7. rehabilitation for incontinence
8. intensive care
9. palliative care with an approach more focussed on the psychological support
