IREN: Informed on Research, ENgaged for better treatments
IREN is a decision aid to support cancer patients’ decisions about clinical trial participation. It’s a collaborative project between clinical research professionals, patients and relatives.
The IREN project won the Pfizer Oncology Award in 2016 (1). Patient involvement and project management activities have been possible thanks to the support of the Friends of Institut Bordet and a grant from the Damman-Latrique and Detournay funds.
