A persistent hoarse voice, a lump in the neck or a sore in the mouth that does not heal… certain symptoms can be warning signs of head and neck cancer. If they persist for more than three weeks, it is important to discuss them with your doctor or dentist.

What symptoms should you look out for? When should you seek medical advice? How are head and neck cancers diagnosed and treated? To answer these questions and help you better understand head and neck cancers, Institut Jules Bordet invites you on 8 October to a conference bringing together several healthcare professionals involved in the patient care pathway.

The event will cover the different stages of the care pathway, from the first warning signs through to follow-up, including treatments, coordination of care and rehabilitation.

The conference will also feature a patient’s personal account of their rehabilitation journey with the speech and language therapy team.
