Participatory gardening workshops
As part of the supportive activities offered to hematology patients, a workshop programme entitled “Participatory Vegetable Garden” is being set up behind the Jules Bordet Institute. This initiative aims to complement medical care with an approach focused on well-being, social connection and outdoor activity.
The participatory gardening workshops are open to adult patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and to individuals in remission from lymphoma.
Eight workshops will be organised between June and December, with healthcare professionals and volunteers present on site to support participants.
The objective? To grow and harvest organic, seasonal vegetables while taking care of oneself and building connections with other patients.
