The Jules Bordet Institute lends its full support to the international Movember campaign that every year alerts public opinion to male cancers and raises funds for research into such male diseases as prostate cancer. 

There is no mistaking the figures: Prostrate cancer is the second most common cancer after breast cancer with more than 10,000 new cases recorded every year in Belgium. It cannot be stressed enough that  early screening and diagnosis considerably increase the prospects of recovery. So this year once again the Jules Bordet Institute is highlighting the importance of screening and encouraging men to discuss this with their doctor.

To show our support for the Movember campaign, our Institute’s logo is now sporting its finest moustache.
