Bordet’n Family
Bordet’n Family: a space for listening and support for families facing cancer
A cancer diagnosis and its treatments can disrupt family balance. Children and teenagers who are confronted with the illness of a loved one may experience emotional, academic, or social difficulties. Parents and relatives often have many questions about how best to support their children and teenagers in the context of cancer.
To help families better cope with the impact of the disease, the psychologists at the Jules Bordet Institute offer various psychological support services, including Wednesday afternoon workshops.
Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to children and teenagers: creative workshops and individual sessions are offered free of charge by our psychologists, including during school holidays (except public holidays).
These activities are available without appointment from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., and by appointment from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
