Research projects

Project 1

TUBA WISP II study: TUBectomy with delayed oophorectomy as Alternative for risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy in high-risk Women to assess the Safety of Prevention: a study offering women with a BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutation the possibility of undergoing risk-reducing surgery to prevent ovarian cancer while preserving the ovaries. The study was initiated by Radboudumc (Radboud University Medical Center) in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in collaboration with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, USA.

Project 2

STIC-RISC study: The STIC-RISC Registration Study. International Registration of Isolated STIC: to Report and Investigate the Risk of Serous Peritoneal Carcinomatosis: an international registration study of isolated STIC lesions, aimed at reporting and investigating the risk of serous peritoneal carcinomatosis. The study was initiated by Radboudumc (Radboud University Medical Center) in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Project 3

PAROLA study: PARa-aOrtic LymphAdenectomy in locally advanced cervical cancer: an international, multicenter, randomized, open-label, phase III interventional clinical trial, in collaboration with CHU de Liège and the Institut Universitaire du Cancer de Toulouse – Oncopole.
