Be careful, do not confuse :
The tram and bus stations in Evere "Bordet Station" and "Jules Bordet" do not correspond to the Jules Bordet Institute.

Bicycle

The Bordet Institute is located in the heart of  Brussels. Try cycling ! A cycle track goes in front of  the Institute and a bike park is accessible in front of the main entrance (red door) at 121 bd de Waterloo and in the courtyard in front of the entrance of the Radiotherapy (accessible via the small Breughel street : see map above). Moreover, The Institute is located between two VILLO points (n°s 39 and 40), located above ground of the underground stations HOTEL DES MONNAIES and PORTE DE HAL.  

You can get a bicycle map which shows the relief, the cycle tracks, the lists of people who sell and fix bicycles.

  • From the station "Gare du Midi " :
    • Underground n°2 or 6 (direction Simonis Elisabeth) get out at the underground station HOTEL DES MONNAIES or PORTE DE HAL
    • Trams : 3 - 4 - 33 - 51 : Get out at the pre-underground station PORTE DE HAL
    • Bus : 27 : Get out at the bus stop HOPITAL ST PIERRE (Haute street)
       
  • From the station "Gare du Nord" :
    • Trams : 3 - 4 - 33 : Get out at the pre-underground station PORTE DE HAL
       
  • From the station "Gare de l'Ouest" :
    • Underground n°2 and n°6 (direction Simonis Elisabeth): get out at the underground station HOTEL DES MONNAIES or PORTE DE HAL

Trains

  • From the station "Gare Centrale" :
    • Underground n°1 (direction Stockel) or n°5 (direction Herman Debroux), get out at the underground station ARTS LOI; then you have to take the underground n°6 (direction Roi Baudouin) or n°2 (direction Simonis Léopold II) and get out at the underground station HOTEL DES MONNAIES or PORTE DE HAL
       
  • From the station "Gare du Luxembourg" :
    • Bus 27 (direction Gare du Midi) : get out at the bus stop PORTE DE HAL located in the Blaes street
    • Bus or tram : 21 - 34 - 38 - 54 - 64 - 80 - 95 - B - M : get out at the underground station TRONE and take the underground n°6 (direction Roi Baudouin) or the underground n°2 (direction Simonis/Léopold II); Get out at the underground station HOTEL DES MONNAIES or PORTE DE HAL

Car and parking

To know : the boulevard de Waterloo is a one-way street

  • Shared Cars : CAMBIO stops are located not far from the Bordet Institute.
  • Paid Car Park « Porte de Hal » located in the "Boulevard de Waterloo" (bd de Waterloo 103 A, 1000 Bruxelles) under the park located in front of the Bordet Institute. The entrance is located at the level of the Hotel des Monnaies Street. You will be given a slight discount for the car park as a patient of the Bordet Institute : for that, contact the consultations at the reception.
