Renewal of the ESGO Accreditation for the Jules Bordet Institute

We are proud to announce that the Jules Bordet Institute has successfully renewed its accreditation from ESGO (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology) for the management of locally advanced ovarian cancers.

This accreditation, granted on the basis of strict criteria – annual patient volume, quality of multidisciplinary decision-making (MOC), and above all, surgical expertise in complete cytoreductive surgery (debulking) – reflects both the excellence of our multidisciplinary approach and our mastery of the complex procedures required for such treatments.

Numerous studies have shown that the survival of patients with ovarian cancer strongly depends on the quality of the initial management, particularly the surgical approach. Being an ESGO-accredited center means guaranteeing every patient a treatment aligned with the highest European standards.
