Stoma Day on October 2: Information Stand

Programme of the day

Members of the stoma therapy team will be present at an information stand to inform and raise awareness among the public and healthcare professionals about the different types of stoma and their management at H.U.B. and at home. Two companies will also be there to present the range of stoma bags, skin protection products and accessories available for patient care.

It will also be an opportunity for healthcare and medical staff interested in the topic to exchange with the team’s specialised clinical nurse specialists about the internal activities available (resources, training sessions and seminars), and to share best practices and care protocols for patients living with a stoma.
