Dear Colleague, dear BSMO member, dear MASCC member,

This year marks the twelve edition of the Belgian Symposium on the Integration of Molecular Biology Advances into Oncology Clinical Practice.

On behalf of the Belgium Society of Medical Oncology (BSMO) and Institute Jules Bordet, we would like to thank you for your previous participations and contribution that allowed us to reach this important milestone and made this yearly meeting successful.

We also would like to take the opportunity to invite you to attend the Twelve Belgian Symposium on the Integration of Molecular Biology Advances into Oncology Clinical Practice. For the second time we decided to include an interesting morning session on supportive care (Post-MASCC 2018). This session will be coordinated by Professor Jean Klastersky on behalf of MASCC. The symposium will be held as usual at the Parker Hotel Brussel in Diegem, Belgium on November 23rd and 24th 2018.

Our program through the last eleventh years integrated the recent advances in molecular biology in oncology and their impact in clinical practice at the therapeutic level. It also evolved with the addition of new paradigms in the oncology field such as Precision Oncology and human cancer immunotherapy. This year again, our aim is to bring together different oncology experts from different countries to present the most recent research results but also to give educational talks.

Accreditation in Ethics and Economic will be provided.

We do think that the symposium may add something new for you, oncologists in practice or in training, and we do hope you will be able to attend it and join us in celebrating its twelve anniversary. In order to organise the logistical issues related to this symposium, please complete the registration form in attachment. Please also find the preliminary program of this upcoming meeting.

Looking forward to welcoming you soon!

Yours sincerely,

Dr Ahmad Awada, Institut Jules Bordet
Dr Jacques de Grève, BSMO
Dr Jean Klastersky, MASCC
