Dear All,

The Institut Jules Bordet, Brussels, is hosting a series of “Prestige Seminars” in Oncology entitled : “Meet the Oncology Expert”.
The purpose of these seminars is to provide a review of the “State-of-the-Art” and ongoing research in a wide range of cancers diseases to an audience of junior and senior oncologists.

The seminaries will take place from 8.00AM to 9.00AM on Friday : Institut Jules Bordet (Rue Meylemeersch 90, 1070 Anderlecht) – Auditoire Tagnon (0H Nord - route 2985 – near the Foyer). The event is hybrid and Teams link is provided hereunder.

Loic AH-THIANE, MD - Radiation oncologist, Department of radiotherapy, Institut René Gauducheau Cancer Center,  Nantes (FR)

“Combining treatment modalities: a synergy between external beam radiotherapy and radioligand therapy”

Dr Loic Ah-thiane is a radiation oncologist and has an expertise in nuclear medicine, particularly in radioligand therapy. He aims to understand how to improve management across different types of cancers, thanks to combining treatment modalities. His main clinical research focuses on associating the latest techniques of external beam radiotherapy to the latest radionuclides available to maximize the effects of ionising radiations.
