Meet the Oncology Expert 

Dear All,
The Institut Jules Bordet, Brussels, is hosting a series of “Prestige Seminars” in Oncology entitled : “Meet the Oncology Expert”. 
The purpose of these seminars is to provide a review of the “State-of-the-Art” and ongoing research in a wide range of cancers diseases to an audience of junior and senior oncologists.

The seminaries will take place from 8.00AM to 9.00AM on Friday : Institut Jules Bordet (Rue Meylemeersch 90, 1070 Anderlecht) – Auditoire Tagnon (0H Nord - route 2985 – near the Foyer). The event is hybrid and Teams link is provided hereunder.

 “Cancer prevention, early detection and interception; from lifestyle to precision prevention”
Adriana ALBINI, MD
Senior Scientist, Scientific Directorate - IRCCS European Institute of Oncology IEO, Milan (IT)

Dr. Adriana Albini devoted a large effort to study angiogenesis, tumor microenvironment and inflammation in cancer, starting with developing basement membrane chemo-invasion assay in the late 80ies. In the last 20 years she has dedicated her work to cancer prevention and the microenvironment as target of prevention. She is Member of the Nominating Committee of AACR (American Association for Cancer Research), Inaugural and Immediate Past Chair of the "Cancer Prevention Working Group" of the AACR. She is Senior Scientific Collaborator of the Directorate of European Institute for Oncology-IEO, in Milan. She has 400 publications in Biomedical with h index 101 (Scholar).
