Laboratoire de Thérapie Cellulaire Clinique (LTCC)

Description

Le Laboratoire de Recherche en Thérapie cellulaire clinique (LTCC) de l’Institut Jules Bordet est dédié à la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle dans les domaines de de la thérapie cellulaire liée à l’hématologie et à l’immunologie.

Les objectifs majeurs du LTCC concernent :

  • l’étude des interactions des cellules leucémiques avec leur microenvironnement,
  • l’établissement de nouveaux facteurs pronostiques,
  • l’élaboration de nouvelles stratégies thérapeutiques.

Dans le cadre de la thérapie cellulaire, le LTCC s’intéresse à la caractérisation fonctionnelle des cellules stromales mésenchymateuses obtenues de différents tissus et à leur manipulation en vue d’augmenter leur potentiel thérapeutique.
